Friends of Vinodiversity invited to new Social Network
An algorithm-free area to discuss alternative varietals
Over the years I have been active on social media, including Facebook, promoting alternative varietal wines. But gradually Facebook is becoming less effective for me. Their algorithms determine what items you find in your inbox. Facebook also has too many hacked accounts.
Instead of Facebook, I will be using the new medium of Substack to engage with the alternative variety community.
Recently I have transferred my newsletter over to Substack. One of the reasons I have done this is that there is now an ability to create discussions and chat, in other words to create a community.
The Substack platform has recently introduced a chat function which I will use to help build the interactions between wine producers, marketers and consumers interested in alternative varieties.
My Newsletter has morphed into a substantial following of alternative wine enthusiasts. I’d like you to subscribe to Darby’s Wine Newsletter to join us.
Basic subscription is free and includes all of the posts and articles.
A paid option allows wine businesses to use my network to promote their events, milestones and products. You will be invited as guest speaker to my Taste and Talk sessions. Paid subscribers also support the work I do on the Vinodiversity website promoting alternative varietals.
