The dates for the next two Taste and Talk sessions have been set.

Thursday 14 July

Bastille Day, so let’s have a look at some of the alternative varieties from France that are used in Australia. Here’s a few you might try…

Whites:
Marsanne, Petit Manseng, Pinot Blanc, Roussanne, Savagnin

Reds:
Cabernet Franc, Carmenere, Gamay, Malbec, Pinot Meunier, Tannat


Thursday 28 July

Some up-and-coming red wines in Australia.

These wines are generally in the band of 15-50 producers in Australia.

Some examples:

Aglianico, Carignan, Cinsaut, Dolcetto, Lagrein, Mencia, Negroamaro, Saperavi


Participants tune in via Zoom at 5pm with a glass of wine appropriate for the theme, then we enjoy a round table chat, mainly on topic.
