Weekly Update of Vinodiversity
Refreshed content - Pinot Blanc, Gruner Veltliner, Negroamaro and more
New Pages on Vinodiversity
My database of alternative varieties and their producers grows and grows. Over the past week or so I have added a few more producers of some varieties and included a new winery or two.
This leads me to update the relevant pages on Vinodiversity. This is a manual process so there is sometimes a delay before the changes appear on the website.
Over recent days I have edited my Vinodiversity pages on the Hastings River Wine Region and the varieties Norton, Carmenere, Gruner Veltliner, Roussanne, Pinot Blanc, Malbec and Negroamaro.
You can see the new and the most recently updated pages on Vinodiversity on this link.
Spring is in the air - put some into your glass
Vinodiversity gets a small commission from its faithful followers who buy wine via links on the website or in this newsletter. Helps pay the costs of hosting and other services.
The latest offers include a special Italian whites dozen. Well thirteen really. This is your chance to try some Aussie wines made with Italian varietals - Fiano, Arneis etc. And the thirteenth bottle? Pecorino. This variety doesn’t look like or taste like cheese. It’s just a lovely crisp dry white. Details Here
While you are checking out that offer, have a browse around. You will find some other interesting cases - reds, whites and mixed under the Euro Styles Mixed Dozen series. Aranel, perhaps.
You can help me
If you are browsing Vinodiversity, especially the pages with lists of varieties and producers, you might find some errors or omissions. The scene changes quicker than this fallible mortal can keep up with.
