For many years Vinodiversity has promoted alternative varieties in Australia. It has encouraged its readers to seek out and try these new and revived varieties. I like to think it has contributed to breaking the mindset of many consumers about what wines they buy. Vinodiversity has also provided a forum for winemakers and marketers to discuss the changing varietal scene.
I’d like to expand the reach of the Vinodiversity community by spending some money promoting the site via some extra online tools and social media promotion.
So I have decided to introduce a paid option for my readers of this newsletter. Not a massive amount - but you don’t have to pay…
This newsletter will remain free. It builds a community of adventurous producers winelovers who are keen to learn about and share knowledge about alternative varietal wines.
But I have costs. Hosting costs for Vinodiversity.com Several services that I use to keep the website up to date and functional. Not a huge amount these costs but add up to $$$hundreds over the year.
Existing free subscribers and new subscribers will still get the newsletter and occasional invites to Darby’s Taste and Talk sessions.
If you upgrade to the paid service you will also get access to archives. You will also have opportunities to use the newsletter and Vinodiversity.com to promote your wine business to an enthusiastic group of wine producers, marketers and consumers. Most of all you can help promote the most interesting corner of the Australian wine scene.
And if you upgrade to a paid subscription in the next few weeks you will get a discount on the going rate, locked in for the lifetime of your subscription.
Monthly and yearly options available.
Remember. The free version will always remain free. You will still get the newsletter and invites to Darby’s Taste and Talk.
If you are already a subscriber, thank you! You can also help by liking and sharing this newsletter via the buttons below.
