We have been holding Taste and Talks for a few years now. We started during the Covid -19 lockdowns, using Zoom to keep in touch with our wine friends with convivial chats about a range of topics.
We have regular attendees, mostly long term wine lovers who enjoy nothing more than sharing their knowledge and experience. This month we will be discussing French alternative varieties. There are plenty of them but often they get overlooked in discussions of alternatives. The Iberians and Italian seem to be just a bit more sexy in the popular imagination.
If you missed the last newsletter here is a link to it where I listed the French varieties that I have on my database.
How many have you tried?
At our Taste and Talks we link up via Zoom for an hour or so. Most of us have a glass of something (this month it will probably be French) so sip during the show and to discuss with our fellows. It’s a bit like a catch-up with our mates at a wine bar or pub.
You can join us. 5pm Thursday 17th July.
